Today i read that my baby's vocal cords are completely developed. Inside the womb, the baby now makes crying gestures, but of course no sound evolves. My mom, during all of her pregnancies played the piano and sang with all her heart, to all of us children. I believe that by doing this, my mom instilled something in us while in the womb. My brother plays the drums and is the best tenor AG has ever found. My sister plays the piano and the organ (like nobody can) and sings with everything in her. I also play the piano and organ, and i always sing with my whole heart!
While my baby's brain is developing, and while its ears are getting accustomed to sound, i have been playing the piano at home like never before, and singing with all my heart. I hope and pray that one day my baby will be able to play the piano and sing in church just like mommy. I will do everything i can to ensure that my baby hears this mommy praying, singing, and playing. That's the way that i was raised. That's the way my baby will be raised too.
This baby loves to hear daddy lead songs and teach Sunday school and preach. It just moves around all over the place. My mom said that in one of my ultrasounds- it looked like the baby was trying to preach (and that doesn't mean that its definitely a boy either- because this momma can preach just as good as daddy! LOL), although i wouldn't mind having a little preacher boy who plays the drums and the keyboard. Anyways, it had its fists clenched and it was punching in the water- like- Amen! Hallelujah!
I want to make sure the memories that i have of my childhood- translate into dreams for my children...

I'll see you bright and early in la manana!! =) Hugs and lots of smoochies!

Oh my word! you guys are hilarious! Kendra you crack my soul up! Since you are the only one in the family that speaks spanish, you will have to teach it to the little one.. you're pretty good at that! :)
Hahahaha!!! you are absolutely crazy!! =) I thought that would make you smile! =] Love u...and the baby!
Yes! Please teach baby "G" to play and sing. Maybe someday I can retire...
P.S. I voted on Baby "G"s gender based on the first letter of her name... very scientific, I know!!
Wow. Sis. McElhaney! that is genius! I can hardly wait until tomorrow. pray the baby is very active and ready to show off :)
And BTW, if you ever retire playing, i quit!
Sis. White has been "threatening" to retire for years, and since she's a little older than me, I guess I'll keep playing. I'm glad you're part of Vic Tab - your playing and singing is a blessing!
You'll even probably notice that your baby will sleep like a rock in church because he/she will be used to the noise. I played the organ throughout pretty much my entire pregnancy (except the last month when I my belly stuck out too far and none of my church shoes fit... lol)... But when we take Levi to church, we sit as close to the instruments as possible and it totally soothes and entertains him. When I would play the organ through my pregnancy, he would be really calm. It's when the noise would stop that he'd get active. Kind of funny how they are perceptive even in the womb!
Haha... a preacher girl! She will be taking after her good ole cousin. Hahahaha! Remember listening to that tape of me and Heather? Toooo funny! Love ya!
BREANNA IS TODAY THE DAY?! so sorry about Monday, I pretty much was on the couch all day due to my stilettos on Sunday. :( I owe you, I know.
If you pass your vocals to baby, our church will be continually blessed! I love when you sing. I love you.
