Happy Birthday, Jayden!!!!

Jayden Anthony Gonzales... you have blessed our lives in so many ways. You mean the world to your Mommy and Daddy and this last year has been the best year of our lives. We are looking forward to so many more birthdays!!! This day was the most exciting day ever! I love you baby boy... MWWWAAAHHHHH!!!!!

He loves his mommy :)

He did not like his hat... at all!

The house was decorated so cute.... the theme: Winnie the Pooh

Its amazing how much money you can spend on a 1st bday! They think of everything now! Stuff to decorate the highchair... a floor mat in case things get a little bit messy...

A Huge Bday Bib!

And Jayden's own cake... all to himself...

Hopefully you all can see how small the cake is. It was a miniature cake. Just his size.

Getting ready for the cake...
He was so unsure of this little cake. He had no idea why we were
letting him touch something so gooey! LOL!
Then..... he got used to the idea...

uh ya....
Time to get washed up now!!
Thank you Aunt Kath

Then it was time for presents

Isn't he a doll!?!?!

Uncle Teeb was there!
And so were the Brazilians! They came out in force tonight! Luv you guys!!

Decorating Cookies

My mom made her delicious sugar cookies and homemade frosting. Oh the memories... we used to make these all the time. They are so yummy and decorating the cookies are even more fun than eating them. Here are some pics of the fun we had. Me and My sis did most of the decorating- although David decorated a few too... his cookies were hysterical...

Me and My Sissy :)
Hard at work!
Posing for the blog.... of course..
The gingerbread man... in green and pink is a work of art... from my husband...

ok so lets take a vote: which cookie do you think is decorated the best?
The Christmas Tree?
The snowman?
The Teddy Bear?
or The Kid? LOLOL

Guess who else enjoyed the cookies????
Jayden loved them!

Isn't he the cutest little guy ever?!?!?!?!

Christmas Day

Jayden had so much fun this Christmas! Seeing him opening his presents and tear the paper and get excited about new toys... it was so neat...

I can't really put those feelings into words. Hopefully these pics captured a little bit of that joy :)

This was his most favorite toy. Nothing else much mattered after he got this from
Gramma and Grampa.

He was still a good sport and opened clothes :)

And attempted to open everyone Else's stuff too... of course we all didn't care :)

He did love his clothes though. Every time he got a new outfit he always started smiling and and talking. He had so much fun.
Merry Christmas from our family to yours...

Christmas Eve

I hope you all have had a wonderful Christmas this year with friends and family. We are having the time of our lives at our parents house in Santa Maria. I hope you enjoy the pics :)

Christmas Eve is always spent with my Dad's family in San Luis Obispo. We have a tradition that we have been doing since i was 3 years old. Every Christmas Eve we go to Grandma's house and meet all of the family. (My Grandma has 7 kids) Then we all go to Grandma's church for a Christmas Eve Candle Light Service. Her church is huge! They have around 500 people that attend on a regular basis, but then for the Christmas Eve service there are at least another 100 or so guests. They read the "Christmas Story" and sing songs in between passages and then at the end light candles and sing more songs. It really is my favorite thing to do on Christmas Eve. I couldn't see myself doing anything else!

The Platform
Singing by candlelight (you can see Jayden in the corner there)

After service- we all go back to my Grandma's house for dinner. She serves several different homemade soups with crackers and cornbread and then there is dessert. She bakes pies, cobblers, cookies, etc... *sigh*..... heavenly :)

Me and Boopie and Grandmas House- all Jayden wanted the entire time we were there was her tree and her ornaments.

Daddy and Boopie
He wasn't too sure about the tissue paper
And he absolutely loved the bows :0)
As you can see.....
He just couldn't....
Get enough....
of the tree and those ornaments....

Pictures of Christmas Day to follow :)
